Animal Meanings
If you have looked at the Hogwarts crest you'll have spotted four animals. Each of the Hogwarts Houses is represented by an animal. The animals are:
- The Lion: Gryffindor
- The Badger: Hufflepuff
- The Eagle: Ravenclaw
- The Serpent: Slytherin
Godric Gryffindor
The Lion represents Gryffindor House. Gryffindors are known for their courage, bravery, and determination. They are also known for their chivalry and their willingness to stand up for what they believe in.
Helga Hufflepuff
The Badger represents Hufflepuff House. Hufflepuffs are known for their hard work, dedication, and loyalty. They are also known for their kindness and their compassion for others.
Rowena Ravenclaw
The Eagle represents Ravenclaw House. Ravenclaws are known for their intelligence, wisdom, and creativity. They are also known for their wit and their thirst for knowledge.
