National Coffee Recall Due to Botulism Concerns

SNAPCHILL Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall

288 Products Affected

Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced a nationwide recall of 288 coffee products from SNAPCHILL due to concerns of botulism contamination. The recall affects all canned coffee products sold by SNAPCHILL, which are sold nationwide through coffee roasters and retail locations.

The recall was initiated after the company was notified of a potential botulism contamination in one of its products. Botulism is a serious illness caused by a toxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. Symptoms of botulism can include difficulty breathing, muscle weakness, and paralysis.

Consumers who have purchased any SNAPCHILL canned coffee products are urged to return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund. Consumers should not consume any of the recalled products.

More information about the recall is available on the CPSC website.
